Mark the location

After waiting at least 7 days, inspect the area for any remaining live vegetation. Dead grass

Run a chain drag harrow over the area to expose the soil under the dead vegetation. Select the tree

Roll the area with a cultipacker to reduce the amount of fluffyness. Select the tree

Mix seed with equal parts inert material, like cat litter, vermiculite. Mix in plastic tub.

Divide area into smaller areas, then divide seed for each area. Select the tree

Divide seed in half and hand broadcast/sow over entire area so the area is covered twice.

Drag the area so seed is incorporated into the soil.

I bought a drag bar from Northern Tools. A piece of chain link fence is attached to it. It needs a bit of weight or just floats over the ground, so added the cedar posts.
